Supralingua

Since the dawn of time, languages have proven as much a source of fascination for man as an obstacle to his communication.  With the passage of Antiquity, the spoken word ceased to be the nearly sole means of spreading languages and the written word came to free them from the restraints of time.  Today, with so many modern means at his disposal, man can communicate faster than ever, and yet he remains incapable of meeting the challenges created by a world of myriad tongues.  The French proverb, “Qui langue a, à Rome va,” (He who knows how to speak, how to explain himself, can go anywhere) has never rung so true.

This is why we developed this part of our site.  We wanted to provide to anyone and everyone who loves languages –or can’t stand them, but has to work with them anyway- the kinds of tools that the new millennium has to offer.
